I always think browsing the internet and Pinterest on Monday morning is such a great way to ease into the work week. I like to take my time on Monday mornings, drinking a hot cup of coffee and browsing pretty things that inspire me online, so take a look at what I’ve been into this morning.

One:House Beautiful is showing off 80 Patio and Outdoor Rooms. Now I have to figure out a way to cram all of these amazing-swoon-worthy-dream-spaces into my backyard… One of my favorite from their list is this lanai. It is a classic vision of my blue and white dreams. You can see more of this specific Florida home from another House Beautiful article. All of the heart eye emojis.

Two:Did you guys know that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi live in the most beautifully curated home? Architectural Digest has an amazing spread of their rustic California abode. How casual are those Emmy Awards tucked into her 19-century cabinet? How come my office doesn’t look like that?

Three:I am just getting to the point in my pregnancy that I simply can not squeeze myself into non-maternity clothing anymore. But, maternity clothing seems so expensive for something I’ll only be able to wear for a short period of time. I’ve been really into finding items that can be both maternity and non-maternity once the baby is here. I ordered this floral wrap maxi dress online and absolutely love it. I am planning to wear it for Easter this year. Pink Blush has a ton of great transitional maternity pieces, that I can easily still wear while not pregnant.  Love!!

Four:I’ve been loving Etsy shops for baby clothing as we await the arrival of our little girl this summer. EmmaStichCompany has some super cute baby leggings and onesies that I adore. I scooped up a few of them like this pink and coral digital floral print leggings with matching headband. How stinking cute is that?! Emma Stitch was also super amazing to work with when I had some shipping glitches- huge thank you for their amazing customer service!

Thanks for stopping in to see what I’ve been loving this morning! Be sure to follow me on Instagram and Pinterest to see what else I’ve been digging lately. I’ve also been sharing some snaps of our kitchen remodel over on Insta stories! Head on over to check them out!

Until Next Time,

It has been a hot minute since I’ve done a Monday Morning Coffee. I love doing them, so I am excited to start back up at it. It is always so nice to be able to share what has been inspiring me. I always think browsing the internet and Pinterest on Monday morning is such a great way to ease into the work week. I like to take my time on Monday mornings, drinking a hot cup of coffee and browsing pretty things that inspire me online, so take a look at what I’ve been into this morning.

One:As you may know, I announced last week that my husband and I are expecting a little baby coming this summer. We are over the moon excited. Last fall we moved from the East Coast to Ohio, leaving behind my friends and family. Being so far from everyone makes it very hard for my family to plan a surprise baby shower for me. Therefore, I am being involved in some of the planning to make it a little easier on everyone. I found these adorable invitations from MyPrintableArts Etsy shop. I purchased them last week and Helen was amazing to work with. I was able to customize them slightly to include a little more information. I can’t wait for them to arrive! They are just so cute!

Two:Our new house in Ohio has a very pretty screened in porch out back that I’ve done absolutely nothing to.. It has slate floors and a big fireplace just like this pretty inspiration from Linda McDougald via Traditional Home. I love the large outdoor dining table, which is perfect for a nice meal on a beautiful summer night. I just love how soft, inviting and neutral this space feels. Its simply timeless! Maybe I’ll try to tackle the screened in porch in the spring….

Three:Again with the baby fever. I’d say I’m sorry but I honestly can not help myself. I adore this soft pink and grey nursery featured on Inspired By This. Its girly, but not childish- which seems to be the perfect direction for a nursery to me. I am totally stealing the idea to frame family heirloom baby clothing- In fact I’ve already texted my mom and mother-in-law to be on the hunt when doing any spring cleaning!

Four:  Holy cow, guys! Did you know Ikea just launched a new Gift Registry program? New home, wedding, baby or going to college- register with Ikea for anything in the store! Its available at every brick and mortar location as well as online making it super easy. You must be a friends and family member to start one- but that is free and simple to do as well. Happy scanning, people!

Five: Last but not least- how sweet is this “I have a fuzzy Daddy” onesie by House Of Luna Boutique?! My husband takes great pride in his beard, so I had to get this for our little bundle of joy. It came in no time at all and it is great quality. They print on Carter’s brand Onesies, which tend to run small. You might need to size up, but I am loving this shops punny stuff!

That’s all the stuff I’ve been digging this morning. Thanks for looking around and talk soon!

Until Next Time,

One:Actually-Ashley-MMC-Fall-Wood-SignHow adorable is this little sign?! Jessi from Cheerfully Creative makes some pretty adorable things, but this sign is one of my favorites for fall. At just $38 this would make a really sweet (and easy) hostess gift for Thanksgiving! I think this might be perfect for our front porch, I might need to scoop one up! I can’t wait to see more goodies pop up in her etsy shop!

Two:Actually-Ashley-MMC-Xmas-Tree-BlueI know, I know.. Its not even Thanksgiving and I’m sharing Christmas decor! But, I mean, come one! Traditional Home is KILLING IT with this stunning living room.We have a lot of navy blue and white in our new home, and I am struggling to come up with a design plan for Christmas that doesn’t include red. Not that I do not like red for the holidays, but I just do not see it in our house this year. This beautiful home designed by Amy Morris incorporates layers of lavender and blue even for the holiday season.  I’m loving this inspiration!

Three:actually-ashley-mmc-art-one-kings-laneOne King’s Lane shared this really great article about creating art displays and curating art in your own home. The entire article is great and packed full of tips and tricks from the experts but one of my favorite tips was thinking outside of the box when it comes to artwork. Art expert Elizabeth framed some well loved textiles to create unique artwork:

“When I showed Elizabeth all our art, I’d included a gathering of antique Mexican textiles inherited from a very dear cousin who had often traveled through Mexico. These included traditional needlepoint blouses, one of which I’d always passed by on the way into my cousin’s kitchen. Elizabeth suggested framing a pair of these blouses and using them to flank the watercolor in our bedroom. This way, she said, “the textiles will make this a mixed-media wall, so it will have a whole new texture. They won’t compete with the painting, but their colors will highlight its softer colors.” I have some silk scarfs that I collected from travels in Europe when I was younger. I would love to take them out of their box and have them on display in our house- but I’ll need to dust them off first!

Four:actually-ashley-mmc-mercana-pendant-light

If you’ve been following along with me and the house on Instagram you’d know I had electricians in last week to do some major work. I shared a sneak peak of our new dining room lights on my story- and so many of you reached out wondering where they were from so I thought I’d share with you! Previously I shared my favorite pendant lights and included these beauties with you, but unfortunately they are currently out of stock from Wayfair. However, I did find these similar ones for you here, here and here. If you’re trying to find my exact same ones they are from a company called Mercana and called The Anknoul III Light in natural wood and metal. They are 22″ in diameter and have an adjustable hang height (I hung mine 58″ off of the floor). I could not be happier with them! I’m going to share a lighting update this week so I’ll make sure to update you on everything else then!

Five:actually-ashley-mmc-how-to-hang-a-layered-gallery-wall-6492Last but not least, Alicia from A Burst Of Beautiful shares this surprisingly simple way to create a layered gallery wall. I absolutely love how layering the frames add so much dimension and interest to what would otherwise be a very typical gallery wall. Well done my friends, well done!

Thank you for stopping by! Be sure to follow along on Instagram for more house updates!

Happy Halloween Friends! I am traveling for work this week which has already been a bit crazy!

Its always a little bit more of a struggle to wake up on a Monday morning for me. I like to ease into my work week buy taking my time on Monday mornings, drinking a hot cup of coffee and browsing pretty things that inspire me online. I’ve been thinking- instead of just inspiring me to get moving on the work week, I’d like to start sharing my Monday Morning Coffee routine with you too. So, grab your cup of coffee (or tea if that’s your thing.. ) and settle in for my new weekly series “MMC”.

One:navyblushandgoldlivingroombystudiomcgeeStudio McGee has been one to watch for a while. I am constantly oogling their Instagram feed. Shea and Syd are a beautiful couple with two adorable kids and a lot of ambition. They started their own design firm and it has really taken off- for good reason.. I love all of Studio McGee’s designs and find a lot of inspiration from them. They recently launched a new online store which has all kinds of goodies. I just purchased two of their watercolor floral pillows for my living room and absolutely LOVE them. Be sure to check out their site, its so good!

Two:lisa-mendes-traditional-home-show-houseI was flipping though an old copy of Traditional Home Magazine this morning and stumbled upon this beautiful kitchen from the 2015 Junior League of High Point Designer Showhouse. Interior Designer Lisa Mende did this stunning black and white kitchen. That wallpapered ceiling! That oversized hardware! An orchid on a blue and white bowl! Brass accents! There is so much to love in this mix of modern and traditional. Be sure to check out more designs from this fun showhouse too!

Three:37677036_026_bHow cute is this little shelf! It would be darling in a kids bedroom. I really love the little brass details at the bottom of the rope. It is a tad pricy at $108.00 but if you’re feeling crafty I bet you could make a DIY version for way less.

Four:gender-neutral-nursery_plaid_masculine_feminine_modern_graphic_black_white_cream_wood_simple_modern_1500-1024x653I’ve been a big fan of Emily Henderson for a loonnngg time. While her taste is more mid century for me- I respect her as a designer and lets face it, she is funny as hell. I loved watching her show on HGTV (rip) and I read her book Styled from cover to cover. Emily has started a new series on her blog where she is getting down to the nitty-gritty and designing really affordable rooms. Like really affordable. I love this gender neutral nurseryfor under $1,500.00. Thats really good, man! Kudos to Emily!

 Five:

davidson-tufted-headboard-52030-746Lastly, I just wanted to share this fun Wayfair find with you! I ordered this tufted wingback headboard for our guest bedroom and it just arrived. Look, for $235 bucks I wasn’t expecting much bit boy am I pleasantly surprised! This headboard is so great and had a really pretty nailhead detail on the sides. It is seriously beautiful! Plus it was easy to put together so that is always a win!

alyssarosenheck2016-122-sean-anderson-restfulOne:

You have to click through Sean Anderson’s beautiful interior design portfolio. He creates stunning spaces that fuse together layers of textures, natural elements and just the right mix of old and new that is timeless. His portfolio seems to have two main styles to it: light and airy spaces or moody masculine rooms.. and I am totally digging both.

This really playful printable from InstandTreds Etsy store would be so perfect in a bathroom or framed near a makeup vanity. Insert the crying laughing emoji here!
