Good Morning Lovies!
I am so excited to share a wonderful company with you today. Pink Blush offers some of the most adorable maternity clothes. I ordered a beautiful floral print maxi dress to wear for Easter, and when it arrived, I was head-over-heels in love with it! One of my biggest things lately have been maternity clothes that can grow with my bump, then transition into non-maternity later on. Versatility is key in the land of motherhood and Pink Blush has made it easier than ever to create a staple wardrobe with styles that can be worn during pregnancy into motherhood. I love that this dress has a wrapped waist. It allows for easy breast feeding once our little one arrives, but also is great for later down the road too!
After swooning over my new dress in a Monday Morning Coffee Post, Pink Blush reached out to me asking if I’d like to try out another beautiful dress. I really like the products they sell and shopped there on my own first- so I could not say “yes!” fast enough. Pink Blush sent me this cute maternity dress. I love how it is fitted to show off the baby bump in all the right ways. It is such a beautiful shade of saturated pink. I am planning on wearing it to my baby shower coming up next month in May.
White Elm Photography did such a great job with these maternity photos, don’t you agree? If you’re in the Central Ohio area give Natalie a call and tell her I said “Hi!”. She is also helping me with some fresh 48 hospital photos and our newborn shoot once baby arrives. You’ll be seeing some more of her amazing work soon enough!
Now for the GIVEAWAY! Pink Blush was also so nice to offer a $75.00 gift card to one of my readers to try out some amazing clothing for themselves! Here are a few of my favorite items they have in their shop right now as inspiration on how to spend that gift card! Scroll down to enter the contest!

The bigger my baby bump gets, the more I value my more comfortable maternity essentials. While it is nice to get all dolled up and go out for a date night my the hubby- its not how I’m living day-by-day. Working from home my sofa means I can get away with some yoga pants and a t-shirt almost any day of the week. But with my bump getting larger every week, my old staples are not fitting the bill- literally. I needed some super comfortable maternity clothing.
I found this amazing company called Great Expectations Maternity. You might know them for their helpful book series that has helped thousands of expecting moms-to-be from all of the world get information about babies development, nutrition and what to expect while carrying your bundle of joy.
Great Expectations has teamed up with Walmart to help even more expectant mothers. They are offering seriously comfortable maternity wear at seriously affordable prices. I’m talking jeans for under twenty dollars here people!
Can you believe this cute chambray maternity top is less than $15.00?! Like seriously, its only $15.00. I love how it fits on my body, with a more modest neckline. The tie waist defines my baby bump so I’m not drowning in fabric. This top has been great to toss on with leggings and run to the grocery store. It has become a quick staple in my maternity closet this spring!Black Maternity Yoga Pants // Similar Maternity T-shirt
I have been living in these maternity yoga pants. They are made of sturdy but stretchy fabric that doesn’t become see-through when you bend over. Nobody likes that! I love that they have a large roll down waist band so you can adjust the fit as the baby grows. While they suggest buying your “pre-pregnancy” size; I wish I went up a size. I am wearing a small, but with my long legs and frequent washing (not kidding about living in these pants)- I want them to be a smidge longer. But, for just $14.00 I’m going to scoop up a few more pairs of these. I imagine they will be great in the first few months after the baby is born too!Black Maternity Tank Top Dress // Similar Jean Jacket
This is an amazing deal. This black maternity tank dress has the sweetest keyhole detail on the back and fits like a dream. Did I mention it is $12.79… RIGHT? This dress is so simple that it makes it super easy to style in so many different ways. Toss on a jean jacket and sneakers one day- layer on a printed t-shirt and sandals the next to create a completely different look! I am planning on wearing this dress through most of the summer! Check out some more amazing items from GE Maternity:
Now, without further adieu… a giveaway! The pregnancy journal has a cute week to week note section to write down your crazy pregnancy dreams, track babies activity and also a space to keep up with your medical records while pregnant.

Wow, I feel like time has flown by with this pregnancy. It is so hard to believe that I am more than half way there! I really wanted to be able to look back at my first time becoming a mother, and wanted to find a way to document it. I love seeing how big my bump (and baby!) have grown every week and am so happy I got up the energy to do this! No joke, pregnant people are TIRED. #growingahuman
I picked up a large chalkboard from my local craft store. I used my Cameo cutter to design and but out vinyl stickers for the “base”. I knew there was no way that stuff was staying intact for 40 weeks so the vinyl has been great! Every week I simply erase the week, baby size and cravings and replace them with this weeks information. Keeping it simple is a great way to actually do it every week!
I grabbed this simple non-maternity dress for $10 at TJ-Maxx. It was super stretchy and long to accommodate all the stages of my pregnancy. I think having the same clothing on for each week makes it easier to see the changes in my body week-to-week. I change up my shoes and accessories based on my mood… hair and make up also shows my “feeling great” weeks from my “I need a nap” weeks! Its actually funny to look back now at my nap weeks!
If I could go back to our first week, week 10, I would change a few things. I wish I had a space for new things, or firsts. It would have been even better to see the first time I could feel her kick, or remember what weeks we had a sonogram done. I am happy I wrote out the week we found out the sex, it was very exciting to know! My mom mailed me that tiny tu-tu the second we told her it was a girl. Its so amazing to see the photo and be reminded of how much she is already loved!
Well, I’m only half way there with a lot of weeks to go. I’ll be sure to share the last half of the journey with you in a few months!

I am so excited to share with you some amazing items I received in my very first last Stitch Fix Maternity shipment! I have been getting a much bigger bump the last few weeks and regular clothing is out of the picture these days. I am so happy Stitch Fix has started having maternity gear- and a huge selection of brands too! I requested some every day clothing and a dress to wear to my baby shower. The stylist Lindsey said they didn’t have a lot of dress selection right now so she sent me a maxi and some more casual wear. Let me show you what I got:
1: Loveapella- Carlita Knit Maternity Maxi Dress- ReturnedI really like Loveapella, and tend to get and keep a lot of items from them. However, I just was not feeling this dress. I don’t like purple all that much, and the print seemed very bright to me. It also was a tad short and could only be worn with flat sandals. I opted to return this one because I wouldn’t be wearing it too much, and who needs maternity dressed you’ll never wear taking up space?
2: Le Lis- Alston Cowl Neck Pullover Maternity Knit Top- ReturnedThis top was very very big. I mean, you can’t even see a hint of my bump in this top… The stylist Lindsey said it was getting great reviews for the postpartum fit and suggested it with leggings. It was very soft and comfortable but the baby is due in August, and there is no way I’ll be needing a cowl neck sweater then so I sent this one back.
3: Full Moon- Peppy 3/4 Sleeve Maternity Knit Top- KeptThis cute, fun and soft top was just the ticket. I loved how it was fitted so it showed off the bump (don’t want people to have to guess, right?). It has gathered sides so it will stretch and grow over the upcoming weeks, but will also be great to toss on after baby arrives. I also love this one with white jeans for the summer! I kept this one for sure!
4: Market & Spruce- Cindra Crochet Cargo Vest- ReturnedI wanted to love this vest so badly. I have been searching for a great army green vest for a while now and never really find anything. I loved that this had little crochet details around the pockets and neck. This one was just a little too big and I worried it would be really too big after the baby arrives. I wish it had a cinch at the waist or something to accommodate, but it didn’t so I returned it.
5: Romolo- Genevieve Stacked Chevron Pendant Necklace- Returned
Man-oh-man. I had pinned this necklace on my Pinterest Page a few times and I really love it. I was so excited when I saw it in this shipment. Unfortunately, when I opened the adorable paper they had it wrapped in, I saw that the chain was broken. Stitch Fix has a great return policy and I could easily get a replacement- but now I am worried another one would break too. I am rough on my necklaces, ya’ll. I sent this one back, and it hurts.
Thats it folks! I was so excited to get my first maternity fix! Even if I only kept one item, it still was nice to try stuff on and see what was working or not working for my ever changing body. I was able to give some pretty specific feedback for my next one, so hopefully I get some more stuff to love! Happy to share with you guys- check in again soon- or follow along on Instagram and Facebook!

I always think browsing the internet and Pinterest on Monday morning is such a great way to ease into the work week. I like to take my time on Monday mornings, drinking a hot cup of coffee and browsing pretty things that inspire me online, so take a look at what I’ve been into this morning.
One:House Beautiful is showing off 80 Patio and Outdoor Rooms. Now I have to figure out a way to cram all of these amazing-swoon-worthy-dream-spaces into my backyard… One of my favorite from their list is this lanai. It is a classic vision of my blue and white dreams. You can see more of this specific Florida home from another House Beautiful article. All of the heart eye emojis.
Two:Did you guys know that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi live in the most beautifully curated home? Architectural Digest has an amazing spread of their rustic California abode. How casual are those Emmy Awards tucked into her 19-century cabinet? How come my office doesn’t look like that?
Three:I am just getting to the point in my pregnancy that I simply can not squeeze myself into non-maternity clothing anymore. But, maternity clothing seems so expensive for something I’ll only be able to wear for a short period of time. I’ve been really into finding items that can be both maternity and non-maternity once the baby is here. I ordered this floral wrap maxi dress online and absolutely love it. I am planning to wear it for Easter this year. Pink Blush has a ton of great transitional maternity pieces, that I can easily still wear while not pregnant. Love!!
Four:I’ve been loving Etsy shops for baby clothing as we await the arrival of our little girl this summer. EmmaStichCompany has some super cute baby leggings and onesies that I adore. I scooped up a few of them like this pink and coral digital floral print leggings with matching headband. How stinking cute is that?! Emma Stitch was also super amazing to work with when I had some shipping glitches- huge thank you for their amazing customer service!
Thanks for stopping in to see what I’ve been loving this morning! Be sure to follow me on Instagram and Pinterest to see what else I’ve been digging lately. I’ve also been sharing some snaps of our kitchen remodel over on Insta stories! Head on over to check them out!

I am so excited to share with you some amazing items I received in my last Stitch Fix shipment! Last week my husband and I finally announced our very exciting news that we will be expecting our first child this summer! We are so excited for this big change in our lives. Speaking of big changes… my belly is steadily growing each week. While I forgot to change my profile before this shipment arrived, I made sure to update and notify my stylist for next month to receive their new Stitch Fix Maternity gear! They have also recently launched Stitch Fix for Men and Stitch Fix Plus Sizes! They seriously have something for just about everyone now! Some of you have been asking my how exactly Stitch Fix works… Well, I got you covered! First create an account here. Fill out the style profile and sizing information. The more specific you are the better! You can even add a link to a style or fashion Pinterest board to show them what you love. Once you complete your profile, set up a date you’d like to receive your fix. A personal stylist will review all of that information and select five items they think you’ll love. If you download the Stitch Fix App, you can edit your profile and track shipments right from your smart phone. I love seeing this beautiful box on my door step! Your first fix will arrive right on schedule. Open up your fix and take a look! They provide you with detailed outfit ideas and a personalized note from your stylist. You’ll have time to try everything on and decide which items you’re going to keep. There is a $20 styling fee which will be deducted from your total if you purchase anything! In your package will be an invoice which lays out the price of each item. You only pay for what you’re going to keep. If you want to return anything, just package up the items in the prepaid packaging and leave it for the post man to pick up! Go onto your app or the Stitch Fix website to check out, give feedback and schedule your next fix. Easy as that!
Another question I get a lot, is what is the average price per item in my shipments? It honestly depends on the brands they send and the item. A nicer jacket or amazing denim will run around $60, while a cute top might be closer to $30. You can also give them a price point in your style profile! Now, onto my fix from this month!
1: 41Hawthorn- Ayesha Textured Button Detail Pullover- ReturnedLook at that little bump! This sweater was cute, and comfortable. I opted to return it because I have so many white sweaters already, but it was a good one! I paired it with dark denim jeans an camel colored boots.
2: Pixley- Abriella Waffle Knit Cardigan- KeptHoly cow, this sucker is so comfortable. Like, really really comfortable. Its a great neutral dark grey and has become a great item to throw on over a plain t-shirt to run to the store this winter. I kept the same dark jeans and camel boots for this look.
I was on the fence about this one, but my husband convinced me to keep it. Boy, he was right! This simple purple sweatshirt has become a weekly part of my new “comfort-is-key” pregnancy looks. It is soft, light weight and easy to throw on with jeans. I am so happy I decided to keep this one!
4: Mystree- Kotor Plaid Front Knit Top- ReturnedI really wanted to love this one when I saw it in my box. I really did. I like plaid, and the material was great! There was just something weird about the fit on me. I’m not sure if it was my growing baby bump or these weirdly large armpits.. but I had to return this one.
5: Toms- Classic Slip-On Flats- ReturnedMy stylist sent me this pair of red Toms. I love the idea of Toms, and the amazing things the company does. I know most people swear they are so comfortable and love theirs. They just seem to no have enough support for my taste. The canvas sides seem to rub slightly weird, and I do not like it. I sent this pair back because I knew I was not going to be wearing them too much.
Thats a wrap! Be sure to check out Stitch Fix if you’re interested! I love their services and would highly recommend it for anyone interested! Let me know what you thought of this shipment in the comments below. I love hearing from you!
Wow! It has been a while since I’ve been blogging. When I did my last post back in December, I was thinking I’d be signing off for the Holidays.. little did I know what life had in store for us!
After months of trying, countless ovulation tests and a lot of emotions I found out that my body just wasn’t ovulating on a monthly cycle. Finally we made an appointment to see a fertility doctor that can give me medicines to force my body to ovulate every month as it should. At my very first appointment with the fertility doctor to start the treatments, I got some very unexpected news. They told me I was pregnant! We had gotten pregnant on our own and the baby was just a few days old. I called my husband who rushed over to the doctors office. We had a sonogram that day and saw the little bundle of cells that would become our baby.
What a whirl wind experience that day was! A few weeks later we shared our exciting news with our family on Christmas morning and couldn’t be happier. It was so exciting to see my mom and dad’s face as this will be their very first grandbaby! A few sonograms and doctors appointments later we decided to share the news with the rest of our family and friends on Valentine’s Day. My sister-in-law was amazing and came by our house to snap some photos for our announcement while I was 14 weeks along. I am so happy with the results and treasure each and every photo.
I picked up this little chalk board heart in the dollar section of Target. I loved the heart shape as a little ode to our announcement going out on Valentine’s Day! I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the little “Oh Baby!”. If you do not have a Cameo, you can order letters similar to ours from here or here. I used the Cameo again to make the t-shirt transfers of the baby’s due date and the “We can’t wait to meet you!”. It was a simple project but made for some great photos! This Etsy store has a similar pre-made one here.
I made our official announcement with Minted.com. They are so easy to use and I love their designs. I have most of my contacts in their system so they pre-address all of my envelopes for me, which is a life saver! I really am always so happy with the quality using Minted. This is the design for you to create your own!
The first trimester was hard. Harder than I expected.. and I wasn’t even that sick. the thing that got me was how TIRED I was. All of the time, everything just took it out of me. I could barely keep up with work and house chores, let alone have enough stamina to write a few blog posts. There was no creative things happening around my house, and I was in bed by 8:00pm every night.
Now that I am in my second trimester, and feeling more like myself, I am so ready to get back into things! I am so sorry for my long break. Get ready for more house posts, some maternity fashion and baby posts coming your way really soon!
Thank you so much for sticking by me and the blog. We are feeling so blessed and excited for this new journey!
